Designation – Communication Officer Location : Mumbai

Responsibilities: Communication Management:

• Effectively documenting the progress of outreach campaigns by creating casebooks and digital material to scale online outreach.
• Participate in On-ground events and workshops.
• Exploring strategic partnerships and collaborating with aligned organizations for Safecity campaigns to strengthen the outreach and impact of our organization to diverse spaces in the digital space., including collaboration for online weekly events (Safecity Chats, Safecity Spaces & IG Lives)
• Keeping up-to-date with relevant news to the organization.
• Assist with the management of social media platforms and RDF’s website.
• Coordinate between Communications and Operations for newsletter and social media posts.
• Coordinate between blogging interns and Communications.
• Assist in brainstorming for social media content, marketing strategies and campaigning.
• Experience with Notion Press.

Volunteer Management:

• Managing, guiding, coaching and mentoring the lead volunteers for the communications team.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Managing, guiding, coaching and mentoring the lead volunteers for the communications team.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a communications role
• Knowledge of Canva/Adobe Illustrator, iMovie/Adobe Premier Pro, MailChimp, WordPress
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
