Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview The HR Officer will support the organization in managing day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee engagement, documentation, and Learning & Development initiatives. The role will contribute to building employee capacity through training coordination while ensuring smooth HR processes and compliance with organizational policies. Key Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment & Onboarding ● Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, screening, and interview coordination. ● Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates. ● Support onboarding and induction of new employees, interns, and volunteers. ● Prepare offer letters and maintain candidate records.
  2. Employee Documentation & HR Operations ● Maintain employee files, contracts, and HR databases. ● Ensure employee documentation is complete and updated. ● Track attendance, leave records, and employment details. ● Provide verified inputs for payroll processing.
  3. Learning & Development (L&D) ● Coordinate employee training programs, workshops, and capacity-building sessions. ● Identify learning needs in consultation with team leads and management. ● Maintain training calendars and participation records. ● Track completion of training and maintain L&D documentation. ● Support development of learning resources, training materials, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives. ● Collect feedback and assist in evaluating training effectiveness.
  4. Employee Engagement & Support ● Act as a point of contact for employee HR-related queries. ● Support employee engagement activities and wellbeing initiatives. ● Assist in organizing internal events and team-building activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience ● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work,, or related field. ● 1–3 years of experience in HR operations or Learning & Development ● Experience in NGO or development sector preferred.

Required Skills ● Strong coordination and organizational skills ● Good communication and facilitation abilities ● Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation tools ● Attention to detail and confidentiality ● Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Desired Candidate Profile ● Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in designing learning content or workshops, preferably in the development or social impact sector. ● Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats ● Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks. ● Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines. ● Excellent team player who displays high standards of professional behavior and ethical standards.

Remuneration: Based on experience and qualifications.
